IR lamp for Ceramic Coating
An Infrared (IR) lamp is a crucial tool for car and bike detailers, especially when dealing with Ceramic Coating. Ceramic Coating typically has a curing period, which can vary from 8 to 12 hours based on the manufacturer’s specifications. During the curing process, it is generally sufficient to keep the vehicle indoors. However, there are instances where we need to expedite the curing period, such as when delivering a coated car quickly during the rainy season. In such cases, an IR lamp can be used to accelerate the curing process.
The IR lamp features an adjustable handle, allowing us to heat any panel with precision. This adjustment capability enables us to expedite the curing process on various panels, including the roof, bonnet, and doors.
Are there any risks involved?
IR lamp generates a significant amount of heat. Care should be taken to avoid potential damage to painted areas, plastics, or any other surfaces.
